WATCH NOW!

THE IDEA

Everyone LOVES their pets! And everyone LOVES celebrities! Just look at the latest trends in commercial television, it’s all celebrities and dogs. Even the latest Superman movie stars a dog. In this half-hour, stand-alone series, we’ll spend the day with a celebrity and their adorable pets, introducing each of them with dramatic dog and cat tales, fun pet challenges and a little peek into the celebrities’ personal lives that even the tabloids haven’t seen.

THE SHOW

Each show will feature a different celebrity, a movie or tv star, athlete or musician, and their loving pets as we tour their homes, hear funny and dramatic stories about their pets, watch them do tricks in the park, follow them on their daily routine, learn how they were adopted and more. The pets are the stars of the show, but the celebrities will show how much they love their pets and how committed to rescuing animals they are. At the end of each episode, we’ll visit the Rescue-of-the-Week with as our celebrity hands them a huge donation from them and their pets.

Each half-hour episode begins in a mysterious way that always introduces the pets first, then they bring us to their owner, the celebrity of the week. We’ll see what a day-in-thelife of the celebrity and their dog looks like; their sleeping arrangements, what they do for exercise, going shopping , at a restaurant or at their place of work. Pawparazzi will highlight the celebrities career in a brief segment so viewers will know why they are spending a day in a celebrity’s life will take fans places they normally wouldn’t get to see. We may be on set with a movie star, backstage before a show with a vocal star or at batting practice with a major leaguer, wherever they take their pets, we’ll be there with them. The pets will show us where they sleep, what they eat, their favorite toy or sport, a favorite trick or a unique talent. They may have an amazing singing voice or hold their breath underwater for a long time. Each celeb will have one BIG pet story to tell that we’ll highlight with photos, videos, and even re-enactments when necessary. We’ll see them grieve over their recently lost pets, while they cuddle with their new pet for emotional support. We’ll also show funny, quirky and embarrassing moments with the pets that will make our audiences laugh out loud.

Throughout the show, our viewers will be able to scan a QR code onscreen where they can donate to the Rescue-of-the-Week (our celebs favorite rescue, shelter or hospital) or follow the prompt to find their local rescue to donate money or time.

THE PET CHALLENGE

PAWPARAZZI will give $5000 to the Rescue-of-the-Week just for being part of the episode, but the celebrity pets can also win an additional $5000 by competing in, and winning, a PET CHALLENGE. Each challenge will be pet appropriate, whether it’s catching frisbee for a dog or unraveling a ball of yarn for a kitty. Each of the pets will try to accomplish a task, a trick or a puzzle, and if they get it right, another $5000 is donated in that pets name.

THE DONATION

At the end of each episode, our celebrity will go to the Rescue-of-the-Week and donate the amount they have raised. They may have friends that match their donation, or they could match it themselves. The show will also post the amount raised by viewers across the country. Each week, the celebrity will challenge the next celebrity to beat their donation for BARKING RIGHTS, which is like bragging rights.

Each episode ends with our celebrities donating to their rescue in person. These moments will reveal emotional reactions from the owners and vets in the rescue, shelter or animal hospital. Pawparazzi will post the names and dogs that are adopted via our website and TJ Lavin will personally follow them to thank them for their help.

THE LOOK

Each episode will embrace the environment that our celebrity invites us into. In the pilot, TJ lives in desert outside Las Vegas, which we shot Vince Gilligan style, similar to Better Call Saul. If our celebrity is living in the city, then we’ll embrace a strong urban feel for the show. We’ll always use Slow Motion footage of their pets, old videos of the celebrity with their past and current pets, GoPro’s mounted on the pets for their POV, and on cars so we always see the celeb and the pets in transit, drone footage of homes, environment, driving and other locations, film lenses and film frame rates to give Pawparazzi a cinematic look and more.

We’ll research the celebrity’s photo and video library to show the pets as puppies or the moment they found their pet at a rescue. We’ll see funny moments caught on tape and stories of near disasters that brought them closer than ever. Plus, we’ll have a segment with clips of the celebrity that brought them fame and highlight their journey to success. Pawparazzi is a show the entire family will enjoy, while also supporting animal rescues and adoption across the country.

THE HIGHER PURPOSE

Finally, we’ll show viewers the conditions of shelters and rescues as an emotional plea to “Take-a-Lap” and see all the animals in need of a home. The images of sheltered dogs and, our celebrities asking viewers to visit one, will increase the number of people visiting and adopting these pets. The shows mantra is “Please donate to your shelter or rescue. But if you can’t donate, then volunteer. If you don’t have the time, then help us spread the word”. This is the theme of Pawparazzi and viewers will be reminded of the ways they can help by introducing someone who volunteers their time to train rescue dogs, people who have illegally bred dogs and are now converted to rescue owners and more.
